SHIPPING DAMAGES: We make every effort to ensure that your Howard Miller clock
arrives in factory new condition.
Please read the following carefully for shipping damages:
Failure to follow these guidelines could result in claim loss.
DELIVERY
BY COMMON CARRIER (not UPS): If your clock is damaged in shipment and is delivered by a
freight company (not UPS ), YOU MUST NOTATE THE DAMAGE ON THE FREIGHT BILL
FOR A CLAIM TO BE VALID. FAILURE TO NOTATE THE DAMAGE ON THE DELIVERY FREIGHT
BILL WILL VOID YOUR ABILITY TO SEEK REIMBURSEMENT FOR DAMAGES !! IF THE
DAMAGE IS NOTICED WHILE DELIVERY IS BEING MADE IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO
REFUSE THE SHIPMENT AND NOTIFY US IMEDIATELY. A REPLACEMENT WILL BE SENT AND
WE WILL HANDLE THE CLAIM PROCESS. Please remember:… IF YOU ACCEPT THE DELIVERY OF A
DAMAGED CLOCK, DELIVERED BY A FREIGHT COMPANY, AND YOU DO NOT REFUSE THE
CLOCK AND YOU DO NOT NOTE ANY DAMAGE ON THE FREIGHT BILL, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE
TO ASSIST YOU WITH YOUR CLAIM. YOU WILL HAVE TO PROCESS THE CLAIM YOURSELF.
UPS
DELIVERIES: If your clock
is damaged in shipment, please contact us for replacement by emailing us at
office@salemclock.com and describe the nature of the damage along with the clock
style name, stock number, manufacturer name, your order number, name, address
and a phone number that we can reach you.
RETURNS:
Any clock shipped by UPS
will be allowed to be returned within fifteen (15) days of delivery for a
credit of the original charge less the 2 way shipping charges plus a $10.00
restocking fee. NO clock shipped by COMMON CARRIER will be allowed to be
returned under any circumstances with the exception of refusal of delivery
for the expressed cause of damage at the time of delivery. If you are
returning a clock please contact us by emailing us at
office@salemclock.com and describe the nature of the damage along with the clock
style and make, your order number, name, address and a phone number that we
can reach you. Please do not return the clock without contacting us for
instructions so that we can be sure that you are credited for the return
properly.
